1785 C Nova Blunt Rays PCGS XF40 Crosby 1-B
Reference #: C58 "This has the script U.S. design as seen on all 1785 issues, but it is the only 1785 variety that also has the blunt rays feature. As such it is the scarcest of the major Nova Constellation Types, other than those dated 1786. Light brown and free from damage, but the dated side shows minor roughness from roller striae with some faint additional granularity on both sides. Generally strong details with NOVA less well struck."

1785 Connecticut "Bust Right, African" PCGS VF30 Miller 4.1-F.4 (Rarity-1)
Reference #: C20 """The African Head"" Red Book Type and a classic within the Connecticut series. Details always weaken toward the rims with this variety. That is the case here, but less so than on many examples. The left legends are full and clear, while the right legends are complete, though faint in places as is the date, which one often finds missing. Golden brown, smooth and reflective with a touch of trace porosity that is unobtrusive. "

1786 New Jersey "John J. Ford, Jr." Narrow Shield PCGS AU53 Maris 24-P (Rarity-2)
Reference #: C24 "A very high technical grade for a M.24-P, placing it high up in the Condition Census for this variety for which only one mint state example is known. Faint traces of mint red can still be seen at points, most prominently above NOVA on the obverse. Smooth with some microscopic granularity, but overall very pleasing. A hidden toned pin scratch in the obverse right field serves to identify this example, which is clearly among the finest known aris 24-R's. ex. Stacks John J. Ford, Jr. 01/03 Lot #118."

1786 Vermont Ezra Cole VERMONTENSIUM PCGS AU58 Ryder 6 (Rarity-3)
Reference #: C34 "A classic coin from a classic collection. Light chocolate brown, even toning with fabulous gloss and surfaces which for the most part are about as hard as they come with this isue. The strike softens at the center left on both sides, resulting in a few legend letters there being faint or missing, with some raw planchet surface intrinsic roughness emerging at those points. Otherwise, the surfaces are essentially flawless which is saying a lot for a Vermont Landscape. Truly a lovely coin. ex. Bowers and Merena 01/96 Ezra Cole Collection Lot #1160."
