"1724 Woods Hibernia coinage is considerably more scarce than either of the other dates, and rarely encountered in upper grades. This coin was conservatively graded by PCGS, it sold as Uncirculated in the John Ford Sale, and it retains traces of underlying mint red below BE of the reverse legend. Medium brown with smooth glossy surfaces, a bit weakly struck at the reverse center. Lovely and problem free. "

"Sometimes called the ""Square Head"", an unusually nice example of a rare Voce Populi variety, with perhaps fewer than 20 believed known. Smooth and even, mid olive brown surfaces that are a touch grainy but better than average for the issue. This variety was missing from the extensive Norweb collecton of Voce Populis. The Taylor/Zelinka example was stronger but rougher. ex. Stacks John J. Ford, Jr. 10/04 Lot #20. "

1760 Farthing PCGS AU50 "Voce Pop, Lg Letters"

"Voce Populi Farthings are many times rarer than the Halfpence and come in just two varieties, the other being prohibitively rare. Voce Populi coinage were private issues which filled a need for circulating coppers until Irish Regal coins were issued in 1766. This high end example is conservatively graded and would grace any type coin collection. Toned an even and glossy medium brown, just faintly grainy but essentially smooth as made, with die clashing at the upper obverse as always seen. Small straight clip at Noon obverse and no problems."
