1791 Cent "Washington, Small Eagle" PCGS MS64BN
Reference #: C53
"Light olive brown with attractive faint wood grain toning. The surfaces of this coin are glossy, hard and approaching perfect for a copper coin of this age. Far superior to the average mint state example one finds offered for sale."

1794 Cent "Talbot, No NEW YORK" PCGS XF40
Reference #: C46
"The 1794 T.A.&L.Cents Without New York are the most sought after coins in the Talbot series, and it is an unusual event when one, let alone several, become available on the market. The sale of John Ford's collection was such an event, and this coin was one of several included there. This coin is uniformly dark brown across its surfaces, which are smooth and glossy with only a few minor contact marks in the fields. Struck from a late obverse die state with a die break running from the rim at 2:00 to the woman's foot. This variety is seldom found attractive, making this pleasing coin an especially desirable example of this rarity. ex. Stacks John J. Ford, Jr. 05/04 Lot #332."

1794 Cent "Talbot, No NEW YORK" PCGS XF40
Reference #: C47
"An ex-Ford example of this ""Without New York"" rarity. A dark brown coin that is on whole reasonably smooth despite some fine granularity, mostly on the reverse. Otherwise free of problems. Always highly in demand. ex. Stacks John J. Ford, Jr. 05/04 Lot #334."

1794 Cent "Talbot, NEW YORK" PCGS PR65RB
Reference #: C65
"Close to one third mint color remaining, most of that on the reverse. Displaying glassy hard fields with the obverse devices ever so faintly textured. Completely free of problems, just a lovely coin. Proof issues of Talbot Allum and Lee Cents are quite prized and extremely elusive, and as the grade indicates, one would be hard pressed to improve on this coin."

1794 Cent "Talbot, NEW YORK" PCGS PR65RB
Reference #: C66
"Ample areas of mint red that are beginning to tone down, and which merge with the rich deep hues reflecting off of these proof surfaces. A splendid coin worthy of an advanced collector. "
